PRESIDENT
Alexis Rose
(she/her)
Alexis first joined Centre Stage in 2011, and has performed in fourteen Centre Stage shows - favourite roles include Roz in 9 to 5, Patty in Grease and Nellie in Jekyll & Hyde. She also produced Centre Stage Unplugged and Fame. She joined the Board of Trustees in 2013 and spent a year as membership manager, three years as business manager and four years as Chair. A strategy consultant by training, she has over 20 years of experience in consulting and business operations and is currently the Chief Operating Officer of a tech start-up. She is also a qualified coach and a passionate diversity advocate. She is honoured to be moving into the role of President of the Centre Stage family.

GRACE JENKINS
(she/her)
Originally from New Zealand, Grace first got involved in the London amdram scene back in 2017, when she volunteered backstage for Centre Stage’s production of Fame. Since then she has been on the committee as box office manager and performed on stage in Love Happens Here and Proms. When not on or backstage, Grace works by day as a finance assistant for a London theatre company and is excited to bring this experience to the Centre Stage committee in 2022.

CHAIR
James-Lee Campbell
(they/them/he)
James-Lee is delighted to be Chair of Centre Stage. His love for the society has grown more and more over the past four years. James-Lee’s first involvement with Centre Stage was as Choreographer for ‘Christmas Cake’ and he has since performed in 'Love Happens Here' and 'Jekyll & Hyde'. He joined the Committee as Creative Consultant in 2018, originated the role of Education & Diversity Officer in 2019 and is now filling the shoes that have come before him as Chair. James-Lee aims to bring his industry experience and drive for diversity to his tenure.

MEMBERSHIP & EVENTS MANAGER
Peter Stonnell
(he/him)
Peter joined Centre Stage London in 2016 performing in 9 to 5: The Musical followed by Fame: The Musical in 2017.
After a short break Peter returned to Centre Stage London performing in Centre Stage Proms in 2019. His next Centre Stage project will be Choreographing and performing in our 2022 production of Cats.
Peter joined the Board of Trustees in 2019 and is excited to be carrying on in his role as Membership and Events Manager, being the first point of call for new and existing members.

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Will Garrood
(he/him)
Will took part in his first Centre Stage production in 2019 with Centre Stage Proms and first joined the Board of Trustees as Marketing Officer. Having co-produced Godspell, he is delighted to now take on the role of Artistic Director. Will has enjoyed treading the boards in multiple amateur theatre productions in London and back home in Suffolk since 2013. Will has an extensive background in digital video production and digital video marketing, with over 5 years of experience as a video editor, photographer and camera operator.

Kat Cooper
(they/them)
Kat joined Centre Stage in 2021 with Cats and they are excited to now be taking on the role of business manager. Finally, they can bring their love of maths and theatre together. Aside from performing Kat works on costume design and creation, and daylights as a teacher and improviser.

EDUCATION & DIVERSITY OFFICER
Giusy Pappalardo
(she/her)
Giusy is a trained performer, published mixed race model and freelance theatre professional working in London.
During the day she works as Reception Manager and as Musical Theatre Department Assistant for City Academy.
Active Body Positivity advocate, Charity work supporter and producer of Mental health Awareness related events, Giusy has first joined Centre Stage for their production of Godspell – and loved it- and is delighted to join the committee as Education and Diversity Officer.

EVENTS OFFICER
Kaylen Rose
(she/her)
Kaylen joined Centre Stage in 2016 just after she moved from Ireland and trained in Opera Singing at The Royal Academy of Music. Since then she has been in multiple shows with Centre Stage, and is thrilled to now be on the Board of Trustees in an events role. She hopes that if you attend any of our events that they always spark joy and make you feel right at home.

BOX OFFICER MANAGER
François Vanhoutte
(he/him)
François joined Centre Stage in 2018 for Grease. He loved it so much that he wanted to return! He was lucky enough to be in the cast of Jekyll & Hyde and Centre Stage Proms, in the same season. François recently played 'Judas' in our latest production of Godspell and is now very impatient to play hips and paws as 'Rum Tum Tugger' in our first 2022 production of Cats. François is really happy to be in the Board of Trustees as Box Office Manager and giving his free time to Centre Stage.

Gia Benjamin
(she/her)
Gia joined Centre Stage in 2021. Driven by a long time personal love for theatre, she decided to seize the opportunity and take part in her first audition for the group’s production of Cats. Working as a digital marketer for a magazine publisher by day, she hopes that her experience will prove valuable as the committee’s new Marketing Manager for 2022.

Rosie O'Rourke
(she/her)
Rosie is delighted to be joining the board of trustees this year and is very excited to be performing in Cats which will be her first show with Centre Stage. She has worked on a number of West End shows in merchandising and is now a Box Office Manager and Marketing assistant in a renowned West End theatre. She is very excited to be using her knowledge in her new role as the Marketing Officer to help get our shows and events out there and seen by all.
